My story

I originally wanted to learn English – but the bartender course cost the same as a language course, so I went to London.

With my poor English back then, I had to ask people for directions and barely understood anything. I rarely use internet abroad, so my phone didn’t help. A trip that should have taken one hour turned into five hours.

In the course I even had to google the difference between lemon and lime – and that’s when my hospitality journey really began.

My journey

I started as an automotive mechatronics apprentice and realized I wanted to work with people. I chose a bartender course in London at the European Bartender School.

Before my first bar job in Bern, I spent a month in Austria. Then I went to Barcelona for the Advanced Bartender course and later Manager of Bar Business.

After military service, I continued in Switzerland: G1, G2 and currently finishing G3. Working in different bars and restaurants in Bern helped me grow across cocktails, spirits and hospitality.
